Honestly, honesty makes life so much simpler. So many are filled with shame and guilt regarding their life decisions. Hence people are quick to blame someone else for "making them feel bad" in order to avoid personal responsibility and feeling the consequences of their own decisions.

I have never had someone say, I am mad at you because you made me feel smart, or special, etc.  So you can pretty much count on if you feel bad about what someone says, it is because you already feel bad about it yourself.  If someone says something we feel is not true, for example someone says you are selfish and you know for a fact you are not, you do not feel bad. You simply feel the other person is an idiot and doesn't know you at all. No blame, no anger.

Like getting a massage, Teachers are in the business of finding sore muscles so you can make the decision to heal that muscle..... or not. Sadly, being a Teacher means one is often a honey trap for blame....I have not heard many (if any) say my massage therapist made my muscles feel bad and that is his/her fault. People say "Wow, I went to get a massage and discovered how sore I am and didn't even know it." If we are truly comfortable with our decisions, at least for now, how can we be made to feel bad?  In fact, no one makes us feel anything. We choose our feelings, all the time.  And we can use feelings to blame....or...... we can use feelings as a compass that can show us where there is more work to be done.

Yes if a Teacher or Guide is directly abusive, mean or inappropriate, time to leave, but learning and growing is not meant to be all butterflies and unicorns. Our current culture is geared to avoid lawsuits, this means many are getting used to  the culture of not saying anything that can be offensive to anyone.... ever. That is not learning, that is avoidance of lawsuits. Learning and growing can be fun... if you are up for the challenge.  But guaranteed it is  not fun all the time. Nothing is. Kids, spouses, pets, all have moments of pushing us past our limits.... which gets uncomfortable. If you feel uncomfortable it is a sure sign you are being challenged to learn and grow.... again unless you are in an abusive situation with someone.  When we are at peace about something, when we are at peace with our selves and our choices, no one can make us feel bad.

Start with being honest. Own your decisions. Yes I love to drink. No I don't eat healthy. Yes I hate being fat, No I don't meditate much. No I don't have a Gift but I do work really hard at my tennis lessons and I don't have a gift for that either.   Now no one can hurt you with comments. Now you are the master of your decisions and choices. There is nothing wrong with any of these choices. If we don't like our choices, eventually we do change......either voluntarily or life circumstances force us to change. We cannot start to Develop if we spend most of our time hiding our choices, blaming others, or feeling bad about our decisions. In addition, all this energy to lie and hide takes a toll on our immune system and our intuitive skills. It takes quite a bit of energy on a daily basis to hide, lie and blame.

Dishonesty and blame keep you hidden not only from others, but from your Self.  It is like going to your personal trainer or doctor and lying about how you eat or your workouts, then blaming them for making you feel bad or failing. How can you receive help if you are so busy hiding the truth from all..... from your self ?  Even Guides are stopped when we insist on dishonesty and blame. If you can't hear, or set boundaries (energetically as well) -- even Guides have to respect  your limits.

Be you. Go from there.  With just this small step, practicing honesty, you will see so many changes in your energy, life, and relationships.

Walk in the Beauty Way. Create Peace and Serenity for your Self... through Honesty.
