So you're a Soul

You have done regressions, Life Between Lives, you know the other projects your Soul Energy is involved in while still incarnated in a lycra shell called skin held up by the scaffolding of skeleton and fueled by red sludge carrying nutrients to often overworked organs. And the final insult is a nervous system functioning as a radar system that sometimes seems targeted to find and feel pain, loss, sadness.  Now what ?

You call this a life ? Well, yes.  When we were tribal, or for those who are still woodsmen/women everything was to be experienced, everything was a sensation. There is no time, or need to understand if the rain has meaning, or if missing a shot with an arrow was a sign we are bad. It is instead all simply experience that demands  we stay in the now, and make choices based on the now.  If it is raining, find shelter if it is cold, strip and dance if the weather is warm. If you miss a shot, learn and aim again. The life of luxury, of technology, has some bad side effects-- it give us to much time to think and the mind IS Satan.

No matter what life has to offer us, no matter how evolved we are (or think we are), bodies offer us the opportunity to experience life in a way that is simply not possible when one is a ball of energy. When I was dancing (ballet and contemporary) there was a joy in finding and working each muscle, getting another inch  range of motion.... feeling the stretch, the drip of sweat, sometimes a pain. It was life at its fullest capacity.  The body challenged, the mind focused on the challenge. No thought of "performance" or end game, just the joy in the effort and all the sensations  --  good and not so good --- invoked in the effort. Zen. Zen of the body alive.

This is a discipline. To shut out the noise and distraction of the future, of the end game. To be the hunter (arrow or camera in hand) stalking the prey-- the prey is the MOMENT you are currently in. That moment there is no time to judge, to make predictions, to evaluate. You simply feel all that is happening. And that is all engulfing. You are lifted up in that moment, no matter what moment it is. You will have time later to reflect... but that is a different activity. It is the MOMENT that gives us joy, engagement, and is the essence of the gift of being in a body for a short period. Embrace those moments. Give them as much time as you give your mental obsessions, and the quality of your life will change.... forever.

Can't do this ? Hook up with a mentor, a teacher, an elder. Don't hesitate. Forget getting your nails done or the importance of new car for a year or so and invest in your LIFE so you can experience and enjoy it (rather than enjoying your drug of choice-- new car, new love, new---- what ever distraction that will soon dissolve and leave you back in the place you started).   EVOLVE so you can live.
