Lord, save me from "empaths"

Image
"I am an empath."  The cry of the New Age citizen. Everyone is an empath to some degree- unless you are a Droid. The word empathetic is in our vocabulary. We all pick up emotions, non verbal cues, vibes. It is part of our communication systems as humans. And yes some of us are more sensitive, at times, than others. And that can make you a high maintenance person because the assumption (these days) is that if you are a "sensitive" of some sort that everyone around you has to take that into account with every word they utter, every action they take. Whew. What a burden. And what a drag!  Add to this that empaths tend to call everyone who does not  make the empath's needs  a priority, a narcissist. Isn't this the pot calling the kettle black. ?  I mean really. If you are a highly sensitive empathic person, then you have some extra work to do, just like if you are someone who tends to put on weight easily. The latter does not insist that everyone serve diet fo...

Dragon Riders

Raising your Spiritual energy is a life changer. As your talents, gifts and skills skyrocket, so will your sensitivities. Do not be in a rush, let Spirit handle your development.  As you grow, you will find your tolerance level for nonsense dropping. Spending time in social drinking, or inane conversations will become an anathema instead of a fun way to spend an afternoon.  When you can read minds, then you have to learn to have superficial conversations in spite of what you pick up. To be dragon rider of the energies, you need a a place to land, a place to come home. Your center. Without that you are a buoy in a raging ocean. Not only on Earth, but once your light shines, entities look at you like chocolate cake. Lost spirits will congregate, some ...

After the "Great Awakening"....... now what.....

We Americans love "the big moment" and in fact we typically search for more and more.....we are "big moment" junkies.  Especially in the New Age Industry-- and it is now definitely an industry.  We meet our Archangel, we discover our  "purpose" (which of course has to be bigger than being a rosebush or a hummingbird, lol).  We need to be big, important, special-- especially in the eyes of others. We long to hold workshops, we deposit accolades in our emotionally bankrupt bank accounts, we collect of proof of our spirituality (or even of our existence) to post (humbly) on Facebook and graciously in the most self effacing efforts we can muster, thank our followers.  Whew. We are busy........ constructing an existence, a meaning, and of course being busy means we really don't have to be too present, or feel our feelings. In my reality, once you truly get on a Path, you are busy.... with a Practice!  And "big moments" filter through each day as...
